SAJML is one of the biggest agro-based concerns of Appolo Group of Companies. It was established in 1965 at a very suitable location, Puranbazar, Chandpur. However, the operation of the mill became a bit sluggish in post-liberation phase when several jute mills were closed down. Then, Appolo Group acquired it in 2008 to renovate the mill and ensure better profitability.

SAJML aims at contributing in the local as well as international market through delivering jute products with up-to-date features. Our core operation revolves around manufacturing of jute bags and various jute-based items. Nevertheless, we have keen observation on the local and global demand – supply trend of jute items. We have a commitment to this dying industry of our country to promote fashionable jute-items with wide range of product features.

Therefore, in SAJML, around 4000 competent employees are working hand-in-hand to bring about a favorable change in the Jute industry of the country.
